Special Purpose Machines Overview
To suit the high end production needs, Swaraj Automation indigenously designs Special Purpose machines for components that have mass production. These machine are a combination of automatic job clamping, autoloaders and unloaders, limit switches, sensors, logic controls, rotary tables, etc. For customers efficient and easy to use purpose the machines are very much customizable. Our SPM's are suitable for components which have operations like facing, milling, turning, boring, chamfer, spot facing, thread milling, tapping, reaming. Our team of designers design the fixtures, special tooling and help the machine to give best performance.
Gas Cylinder Neck Machine
Gas Cylinders for oxygen, CNG, LFP, medicines and for industrial uses are generally required and formed to shape/size based on the market requirement.
Every Cylinder has a neck which is formed through hot forming. The purpose of the neck is to fit valves and needs machining operations such as drilling a hole, cut to length, facing, turning, flaring at neck, inside bottom milling to remove burrs for inspection purposes, etc. This can be carried out in different ways like by rotating the cylinder or by rotary tools with a stationary gas cylinder.
We can provide these machines for production to suit the requirement of the industry.
6 Station Multi Head Machine
We manufacture multi machining operation stationed machines for components with loading/unloading of jobs in one setting. Job is fixed on a station and the job goes to all other stations sequentially to machine the desired operations. The job is on fixture which rotates 360degrees by rotary indexing table. While rotation at 6 places it stops very precisely for machining by the machining units fixed on columns or bases or slides at the respective six positions. By this method one can obtain highest production quantity with reliability e.g. 15/16 seconds cycle time per job output with precise reliability and repeatable same dimensions.

Spiral Milling Machine
